Nick and Olivia Williams are a 60ish couple who own the building and lease out the top two floors. Russell and Elizabeth Meyers live on the second floor; he is a writer who works at home and she is a high-powered lawyer. Allen and Cindy Campbell live on the top floor; he is a college student and she works as a waitress to put him through school.
